2. Purpose and Scope of Data Processing

Access to this webshop is restricted exclusively to authorized suppliers of Thomann. In the course of usage, we process personal data in order to:

• grant users access to the webshop (authentication),
• enable ordering of instruction manuals,
• coordinate the delivery of the ordered materials,
• ensure the technical functionality and security of the platform.

3. Data We Process

Depending on the type of use, we process the following data:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Company affiliation
• Password (stored in encrypted form)
• Order details (time, product, IP address)

4. Legal Basis of Processing

Data processing is based on:

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – for the performance of contractual measures with suppliers,
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – for the purposes of our legitimate interests (security, optimization, traceability),
• where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – based on voluntary consent (e.g. for cookies, if tracking is integrated).

5. Recipients of the Data / Disclosure to Third Parties

Personal data may be disclosed to the following recipients in the course of operating the webshop:

• IT service providers / hosting providers – for providing the platform, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
• Login – Technical session data (session ID, timestamp, IP address) is stored during login to prevent misuse and ensure security.

Our platform is hosted by an IT service provider located within the EU with whom a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded.
No personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA.

6. Storage Duration

Data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes or to comply with legal retention requirements. Access and usage data is generally deleted.
